Every summer, Kevin Gillespie remembers the moment the car would cross the Sea Isle Bridge... At the highest point, the family’s shepherd-collie, Beau, would start barking and jumping all over the car. And once the sun set on the bay, Kevin and his family would gather on the deck to barbecue, share stories and catch up with old friends. Coming to the shore every summer became such a beloved tradition that Kevin and his family ultimately decided to make the shore their home.
Fast Forward to June
As a youngster, Kevin kept busy during the off-season with sports and school but always looked forward to June. He loved seeing the return of familiar faces and the chance to create new memories down at the shore. Even after this respected businessman moved to Philadelphia to attend St. Joseph’s University and gain his management degree, he faithfully returned to the South Jersey Shore whenever he could. It should come as no surprise that Kevin and his wife, Megan, have since purchased their own home along the shore and continue the tradition of welcoming friends and family every summer.
